Mothers’ Perceived Susceptibility and Severity of Maternal Behavior in Stunting Prevention

BACKGROUND: Nutritional problem is still a significant public health issue worldwide, and Indonesia not exempted. Stunting the failure of child to grow proper height their age due unbalance nutritional intake (more calories less protein) when they are in womb, baby, toddlers. The mother’s lack awareness about susceptibility severity stunting contributing factor. AIM: Purpose this study investigate mothers’ perceived toward association with behavior prevent stunting. METHODS: It quantitative using an analytical observation design cross-sectional approach. This population 120 mothers under 5 years children East Surabaya Health Center, Indonesia. They were all taken as research samples. independent variables stunting, whereas prevention dependent variable.
